Church of the Holy Cross, Sherston

Sherston is part of the Gauzebrook Group of parishes which include Alderton,Easton Grey, Foxley,Hullavington, Luckington.Norton and Stanton St Quintin.

Others officiating are Rev John Morgan who is retired with permission to officiate, and our Lay Ministers; Mrs. Susan Harvey and Mrs Marjorie Morgan

The Church is open every day from 9.00am until 5.00pm (approx) for prayer and quiet reflection.
Our aim is to provide a focus for village life and there are various activities connected with the Church that reflect this.

There is a popular coffee shop that is open three days a week,Tues,Wed and Thursday from 9.30am –12 noon.

A Sunday school is held each Sunday morning during our 9.30 service.Childrens workshops are held at major festivals. Contact Mrs Susan Harvey 01666 840696

A prayer group meets every Saturday in the Lady Chapel at 10.am where prayer requests from the prayer board in church are remembered.

Normal Sunday services are:
8.00am Holy Communion
9.30am Sung Eucharist
6.00pm Evensong
A family service is held every third Sunday ay 9.30am
